The Rebbe
The Lubavitcher Rebbe taught that the inner dimension of Torah — Chassidus — is not reserved for a few, but is the birthright of every Jew; and he asked that its wellsprings be spread outward, gently and without pause, until they reach every heart.
He gave singular importance to the Torah learning of women, seeing in it the foundation of the home and of the world to come — and asked that the deepest parts of Torah be opened to them, not only its outer practice.
Whole institutions grew from that call: places where women could sit and learn Chassidus seriously, at length, without apology. It is in that spirit that these classes are taught.
For many years Chana Ginsburg has taught in the very institutions that grew out of that vision. The classes on this site are a continuation of it — the inner Torah, taught patiently, for anyone ready to sit and learn.
