1:10:46Shaar Hayichud - 15 Tamuz 5786: Chapter 33 - Practice התבוננות - training our mind to view the whole order of השתלשלות as one instant Divine flow beginning in יחיד 26 06 30
Audio2:00:19A foundational class in Kabbalah — the essential vocabulary and framework: the Ein Sof, the sefiros, the worlds, and the structure of the soul.
Audio39:31Insights and 'tidbits' for Pesach — the inner meaning of leaving Mitzrayim, the matzah of faith, and the personal exodus from our own narrow places into freedom.
Audio41:01The giving of the Torah at Sinai — the wedding of G-d and Israel — and what it means that every year, on Shavuos, each of us stands again at the mountain to receive the Torah anew.
Audio59:51A journey through the Megillah — Achashverosh and Esther, concealment and revelation — read as a map of the soul's relationship with the hidden King.
Audio36:12The deeper meaning of Purim — how the salvation of the Jewish people came through the hidden hand of G-d within nature, and how the joy of the day reaches the very essence of the soul.
Audio14:27A collection of stories for Rosh Hashana — bringing the awe, the mercy, and the coronation of the King of the Day of Judgment alive through the power of a good story.
Audio4:48What it means that the Torah speaks of G-d in bodily terms — the 'limbs' as a map of the sefiros and the Divine attributes through which G-d relates to the world.
Audio1:01:55The opening of the maamar Hayosheves Baganim — the soul as the beloved 'who sits in the gardens,' and the yearning between G-d and the Jewish people.
Audio1:03:02An introduction to the four spiritual worlds — Atzilus, Beriah, Yetzirah and Asiyah — and how this ladder of creation descends from the infinite light of G-d.
Audio1:18:44Continuing through the four worlds — how each world is a garment and a filter for Divine light, and what that teaches us about our own inner structure.
Audio1:02:28Continuing the maamar — the gardens of Torah and tefillah in which the soul dwells, and how the Divine voice calls to be heard.
Audio7:52Iyar is the month of healing — its name spells 'Ani Hashem Rofecha,' I am G-d your Healer. It is the month of counting the Omer, refining the animal soul, and the joy of Lag B'Omer.
Audio1:11:25The world of Beriah and the realm of the intellect and the soul — how thought and comprehension mirror a whole spiritual world.
Audio9:07Sivan is the month of the giving of the Torah on Shavuos — a wedding of G-d and Israel, marked by unity, the number three, and the humility of a low mountain.
Audio1:10:18The longing of the soul in exile and the ways it seeks reunion with its Source.
Audio1:12:03The world of Yetzirah and the realm of emotion — how the middos of the soul correspond to a world of formation.
Audio54:54How the friends 'listen to your voice' — the interplay of the soul, the angels, and the Divine desire to hear the voice of Israel.
Audio7:42Av holds both the deepest descent — the Three Weeks and the churban of the Beis HaMikdash on Tisha b'Av — and the seed of the greatest ascent, the comfort of Nachamu and the promise of the final redemption.
Audio1:04:22The world of Asiyah — action and the physical world — and how the lowest world becomes the ultimate purpose: a dwelling place for G-d below.
Audio38:04The culmination of the maamar — 'flee, my beloved' — the soul's plea to hasten the redemption and the revelation of the final geulah.
Audio54:04Drawing the four worlds together — how a person ascends and unifies the worlds through Torah, tefillah, and refining the physical world around them.
Audio8:40Elul is the month of Teshuvah, when 'the King is in the field' and closeness is made easy. It is a time of cheshbon hanefesh — taking stock of the soul — in preparation for the Yamim Noraim.
Audio11:40Cheshvan, the only month with no holidays, is the month of bringing Tishrei's light into ordinary life. As the eighth month it is the month of the supernatural — the month of Moshiach and the future third Temple.
Audio10:59Kislev is the month of trust and of light — of Chanukah and the 19th of Kislev, the New Year of Chassidus. It reveals the inner, mystical dimension of Torah, like oil that lights up the darkness.
Audio8:28Tevet begins with the last lights of Chanukah, whose glow helps reveal the hidden good (Tov) in the cold and in life's challenges. Its avodah is to heal the 'evil eye' and to learn to see the good in others and in ourselves.
Audio11:15Shevat joins service and leadership — drawing Divine wisdom down into the world like water from a well. On Tu biShvat, the New Year of the Trees, we learn that we grow, like palms, only when our roots intertwine with others.
Audio15:47'When Adar enters, we increase in joy.' Adar is the month of Purim — of the hidden face of G-d in nature, of miracles disguised as chance, and of a joy that breaks past every limit.
